New Construction Tour: Squaw Mountain Retreat

Last week, Invalesco’s Real Estate team was invited to an exclusive tour of a new construction project from Northland Construction and Tomacek Studio Architecture. This 2,500 square-foot design-build, custom home features radiant concrete floors throughout, thoughtfully designed tongue-and-groove ceilings, and two separate family room fireplaces for a wood-burning or gas option.

The tongue-and-groove ceiling created the effect of extending from inside to the outdoor soffit, typical of mid-mod builds from the late 50’s, but were actually installed as two separate ceilings to maximize energy efficiency in the space. Visually, it was impossible to tell.
